This blog was designed to share some tidbits of information that I gathered through my research, attending technology conferences, and collaborating with others. My purpose is to establish a learning environment where each one can teach one so that we, as educators will be able to keep abreast of the changing instructional climate that is taking shape in our instructional environments. At Tech Resources for Teachers, you will find a compilation of innovative tools to use for delivering instruction to assist in engaging students to learn to become problem-solvers and critical thinkers. It will provide links to instructional web sites, Web 2.0 tools, multimedia resources, how to guides, activities, lesson plans, innovative pedagogy practices, and a wealth of technological tools that you can use in your classrooms. In addition, there will be an educational blog that you can use to establish learning communities where you can find answers, collaborate with others with similar interests, discuss challenges, and present solutions to technological problems that occur in your classrooms. All of us are here because we have elected to be life-long learners and we must position ourselves to serve our learning communities by effectively preparing our students for our 21st century digital society.

Sincerely,

Sheila Cartwright
